It was produced to help all who see the program realize the cultural value of music to our society, and thus be inspired to support both private and school music educational Music is an essential part of a well-rounded education, teaching children many lifelong skills such as problem solving, self-discipline, teamwork and self-confidence. The Canadian Brass encourages all parents to get involved with the music department at their children's schools. Besides the student interviews, famed trumpeter Wynton Marsalis makes a guest appearance, and members of the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Symphony provide entertaining insight on how they chose their particular instruments.
