For many years, portraits of distinguished and appreciated persons have been made, but in this special project we could not and did not want to limit ourselves to easel, linen and colour. Thus you can now hold a "sound portrait" of two exceptionally special and extraordinary musicians: Hans Gansch and Matthias Höfs." After the first phrase of the first track, you know it's going to be true! Hans Gansch was for many years solo trumpet with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and now, in addition to world-wide solo performances, holds the position of Professor of Trumpet at the Salzburg Hochschule fur Musik. He is also a major driving force behind Schagerl trumpets. His partner for this project, Matthias Höfs, is Professor of Trumpet at the college of music in Hamburg and a member of German Brass.
