Double Brass Quintets
Canadian Brass has collaborated with principal brass players in some of the worlds greatest orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Minnesota Orchestra to name just a few.
The group has live performances every year with other orchestra's principal brass players and has made several Renaissance, Baroque and Romantic period recordings of double and triple quintet arrangements with these additional performers. For two of our recordings, Canadian Brass: Bach and Canadian Brass: Legends, we augmented the group with past players and friends in order to achieve a larger double quintet sound on some of the tracks.
