Digital Download Recordings

Our digital downloads are high quality mp3 files (320 kbps) unless otherwise listed. We also have files in FLAC, ALAC and WAV Files.  See the differences between the formats explained below.

Once your order is marked COMPLETED on our end, you will be sent an email with highlighted text "DOWNLOAD FILES". Clicking on this will take you to where you can download the audio files. We recommend that you wait until you have high speed internet and can download the files to a desktop or laptop as you will need a storage space to save the files.

YOU WILL HAVE TWO DOWNLOAD ATTEMPTS available.  If for some reason you are unable to successfully download the files please contact us through the store or send an email to mike@canbrass.com and we will find a way to get the music to you.

MP3: Moving Picture Experts Group (MP3) is the most popular and widely supported compressed lossy digital music format. MP3 files are the default standard for sharing music files on the internet. The MP3 algorithm compresses audio by removing parts of an audio track that can't be heard by the human ear.

FLAC: The Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) is the most common lossless compression audio format used for musical downloads. FLAC is open source and supports imbedded media data like artist name etc. Typically FLAC files are around half the size of the original uncompressed version, however, Apple's iTunes does not support this format.

ALAC: Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) is an open source lossless compression format developed by Apple.

WAV: Waveform Audio Format (WAV) is an uncompressed format commonly used on PC computers although most Apple Mac software will also play the WAV format.
