Mouthpieces - Yamaha Standard

The Canadian Brass recently play-tested and evaluated the entire line of Yamaha standard brasswind mouthpieces. After trying them all, the group decided which mouthpieces were, in their opinion, the best choices for most students. The group based their decision on playability, tone quality, and intonation. The mouthpieces selected include: trumpet, TR11B4; piccolo trumpet, TR11A4; cornet, CR11C4-7C; trombone, SL48; French horn, HR32C4, and tuba, BB67.
Members of the Canadian Brass recommend these mouthpieces as a way to help budding young musicians be more successful in learning to play.
